Yeah, I've seen a 4LS brake before, have you seen the conversations that are common two make my hub just like that one? These guys offer it as a service but I'm going to be doing it myself because I already have the parts to do so.

I have Jap bikes and have owned a lot of Jap bikes in the past but I know what you mean. How many CB350's can you really look at before you lose interest.
Yes, I need to punch out the other holes and add the levers to make it 4LS right now it is a technically called a double sided brake hub. After the mod it will be 4LS. The mod changes the stationary pin to a movable pin and then you add the lever to that on both sides. Its half the price of an...
There's support for these bikes and I have discovered some pretty good resources. Parts can be kind of spendy though. My NOS 4th over piston was $250. My carb was $350. It adds up but a nice stock runner of the same make and model as mine is worth around $5k so you can always get your money...
Tim,
I'm bead blasting the engine and polishing everything our that would have been polished when it was stock so it will look new when its done on the outside and bee new on the inside. These bikes were very competitive race bikes in the late 50's early 60's. Stock they weigh less than 300...
The engine os torn down and needs a bit of work. I'm gonna put a NOS 4th over piston in it, rebuild the crank, new valves/valve guides, add new bearings threw out and a 12v electronic ignition that doesn't need a battery but can run lights. Here's some pics. Hop to have it back together in about...
My 360 may take a few kicks to get it started but once it's warmed up it starts on the first kick. I usually push it through once slow and then push down to where you can feel a little bit of pressure, then I kick it from there. Seems to work pretty good.

Doing some disassemble work to prep the engine for bead blasting and polishing. Found a whole sub world under the sprocket cover.
Did a little cleaning and now it looks a little better.
I've had to use easy outs on almost all the bolts. Everything is totally stuck. The engine turns over, the...
Here's a shot of the frame brace clamped to the extended swing arm axle and the swing arm brace. I mixture of era correct racing tech and modern racing tech.
I'm sure it will take some getting used to. I have 5 bikes that all shift on the left and just going from one of those to the other with the key, hand controls and riding position is odd. Moving to the bike is going to feel really strange I'm sure.
