just thinking out loud here The starter winds the crank, not the transmission, so if the starter is sticking on wouldn't it be sticking to the crank and therefore making a noise with revs, not when its in gear? Does this sound right? Cheers

Hi all This cb250 nighthawk is a 1998 model, and the previous owner didn't seem to be very mechanically minded as the first thing I did after riding the bike was loosen up the front forks and realign the wheel/bars because the bike has obviously been dropped. Such an easy fix makes me think...
