    Help please, whats it worth?

So I have a CB900FZ project cafe racer bike I will never get round to finishing. The bike is 100% dismantled. Lower half of the engine was rebuilt but top half still needs doing. The contents are probably 90% there, biggest items missing are brakes and exhaust. It comes with new bearings, gasket...

    Electric Ninja 250 Cafe

I wouldnt ignore this! Your going to need to brace it so its structurally all ties together, thats what the engine does. Great project though, I was looking at doing an electric build but the mileage from a charge wouldnt have been enough to get to to work let alone back again. You have a good...

95 Nighthawk cb750 build. You know where this is headed don't you?

How much does it have to be waxed? What was the cost involved? My bike is going to be mainly black but with copper detail but always wanted to do the tank copper. I was going to go down a copper powder coat route which can look good, not compared to the real thing though.

In the first pic, how did you get that finish? Is it copper plated?

    Engine help!

Well the top cam chain guide was snapped so Im guessing it had something to do with it. Everything else looks spot on, taking it for welding next weekend to be sure.

    Engine help!

I cant see an expoxy coming loose? Expoxy is used on commercial planes and I've seen a bolt expoxyed to a metal bar has held up to 12kg (28 pounds) which surely this component wont be subjected to? I have contacted a welder though.

    Engine help!

Ok guys, help/ advice time for me again. Currently stripping down a CB900fb engine. After doing the top end it all looked in such good shape I wasn't going to do the bottom end. However I am glad I did as in the bottom end I found a lump of metal. It belongs to the bottom half as seen in...

"Woody" a '75 cb750k cafe racer woodgrain paint. Done 4/15!

Re: "Woody" a '75 cb750k cafe racer with woodgrain paint Love the build, my question is how do you think the 3d printed parts are going to hold up with the vibrations etc? Do you Epoxy or Polyester Resin them after you have printed? Soon to be doing some parts with a printer. Im possibly going...

Where did you get the seat from? I have a cb900 and that seems to look perfect for the upswept frame.

Difficulty involved in an average cafe project?

I'm just beginning my project. The problem is having the stuff you need. I spent a long time hoarding tools and I'm still looking for various things. It depends how hands on you want to be! Are you going to paint yourself or get someone else to do it? Will you be stripping the engine? I...

    Refitting fork tubes!!

Cheers for the advice. As they are smaller than what I'd like, I will most likely sort these out then move them on. Im on the hunt for a gsxr front end now. Obviously with these being smaller id assume they wouldn't perform as well as standard cb900 forks are 39mm I believe. The last thing I...

    Refitting fork tubes!!

As would be my luck, the other side is seized! Any suggestions? I dont want to clamp the fork tube and damage it. Benind the screw cap at the top is a valve that is the same as a tyre valve. Is this used to pressurize the tubes?

    Refitting fork tubes!!

Ok, unscrewed the top, came open easy. Was then very slowly opening it whilst crapping myself that the spring was putting preload on the end and this thing was going to take off, but it didnt, and, viola... Still unsure what they are from, but they have a honda steering stem.
