Yeah, the 2.75 recommended rim on the website seems like a mistake. I mean how can you recommend a 2.75 rim for a 3.00 tire. Weird.

I've got the same thing going on after installing led tail bulb, it pulsates in sync with rpm. I will try the resistor plugs, i think my plug caps are 0ohm.

hmm interesting, how do you go about straightening a stanchion? It is definitely slightly curved at the top about 3 inches from the top. The left side was straight as an arrow. The trees were fine, flat surface and level tested flat.
