Hey guys im getting close to finishing up my xs. it sucks that the past 4 months ive been documenting this xs650 build with pictures that was taken with my iphone, then 2 weeks ago my iphone crashed and i lost all my build pictures along with pictures from a friends bike ive been helping him...
i dont know the OEM part number mikesxs part number is 14-0652. Mikesxs is currently out of stock, i think their in a transition with ownership because i cant get a hold of anyone about the next availablity.
Heres some additional info i pulled from the web if you just want to buy the jets.
Xs650 info.
Carb jetting for aftermarket filters and exhaust:
Main jet: 142.5-147.5
Pilot jet: #45
Air jet: #127.5
idle mixture screw: set @ 2.5-3 turns out.
-sync carbs
- fuel level shut-off in float bowl set high.
I would suggest going to mikesxs.com or 650central, they both offer jets and jet kits for xs650. If your order from either of the two i would recommend the needle jet kit by heiden tuning its not too expensive and they give you jets new needle and instructions for putting them in. If your like...

if you can find a bolt with the same thread pitch as the honda flywheel puller bolt you can probably use that. i think the threads are 20mm x 1.5 right hand internal thread. if that helps...
Isnt the throttle mechanism different between the cl and cb? It looks like cl carbs have the throttle cable pulling the slide from the top kinda like the mikunis and the cb are actuated from between the carbs right?
does any one know if stock cl350 carburetors would work with a cb350 engine? I noticed that the cl carbs look alot different than cb350 ive usually seen. any information would help. Thanks.
