It's pretty impossible to do anything other than make an edjucated guess. Every bike is different, so the jet requirements can vary, even on the same model of bike. I will give you an example, I just got through re-jetting my XS. It's a 1979, has #135 mains and #27.5 pilots. I installed pod filters and a new 2-1 exhaust system. I changed the jets to #140 mains, #30 pilot, and raised the needle one notch. With this set up it is rsponsive, has no flat spots or other problems. With your bike, if you only changed the filters, and still have the stock exhaust, I would recommend going one step up on mains, one step up on pilots, and raise the needle one notch. that should be a good starting point. If the only problem you have is a stumble when rolling on the throttle, you might try raising the needle one notch before buying any jets. It could be all you need. Remember, to raise the needle, you lower the e-clip, and keep in mind the jets on an 83 are different than those on my 79, but the jetting theory remains the same.
Good luck,
DLD
