So yesterday I ordered some slim retro style shocks and mini-Norton Commando style exhaust for this project. I'm going to my reliable source DCC for these goodies! Can't wait to get them in!
Another update! I got the engine mounted in the frame, exhaust collars cleaned with Bar Keeper's Friend, soda blasted and cleaned/rebuilt carbs, polished intake runners and wired up the starter. The headlight has been mounted and two new turn signals. I also replaced hardware along the way with...
I now this is old but I thought I would post an update. I have found some decent 175 headers that I decided to scuff, clean and paint with a high temp exhaust paint. I'll then fit up some nice pipes from DCC.
