I ended up selling it. i found since i was going to have to replace the gas tank as it was to rusted out and min parts avail to do wha ti wanted to the '80, that it was going to cost more to try and make the 200 work vs just looking to find a 400 later on
im thinking it would probably be easiest to just put the 400's front end on im thinking? in which case the length of the steering tube, along with the diameter i suppose would be the first measurements to get
I didnt see anywhere listed what year the R1 forks and clamps came off of? im hoping to do the same to my CB750. i actually also want to convert my wifes lil cm200 to a 400 front and rearend with the comstar wheels, so do you think you might be able to take some measurements for me? as im trying...
love the build! i like the idea of using the gsxr carbs as i have a '80C model myself that i slapped the same tank on with some Mx bars on for now. its just unfortunate that i bought a brand new set of the cb boots, which quite frankly are not that cheap considering they are just rubber...is...
i dont have any experience but im interested as well as i have a '80 cb750..when i bought my bike last fall i had zero air filtration on my bike so im gona need something and these kinda looks like a decent idea
Found this site a lil over a week ago, too bad not sooner! i bought a '80 CB750 for myself last memorial day and just picked up a cm200t for my wife last week. we are going for a cafe/tracker style from what i can tell of the bikes in this forum...love the one up at the very top of every page...
my wife really wants MAG wheels for it and i noticed that the CB250N has them..as well as i like the tank from them as well seeming how it kinda goes with my 80 cb750 i have going for myself as well..but we are also trying to go for this kinda look
