79' CB 750 Aftermarket Airbox

Tomorrow I will be pulling the carbs an rebuilding them with Randakks rebuild kit. The PO has really cheap pods on it and I have read nothing but negative about pods on the DOHC 4. I seem to be having a hard time finding a complete OEM air box setup. I am looking at this aftermarket box.

I contacted the company and they recommend running 115 main jets. Anybody have experience with this company or suggestions to other aftermarket airboxes??

i dont have any experience but im interested as well as i have a '80 cb750..when i bought my bike last fall i had zero air filtration on my bike so im gona need something and these kinda looks like a decent idea

They have a few different style and finishes that are available. Here is the response back I got from them, very quick and friendly customer service!

"Hi Jason,

Yes, we do make an air box for your bike. We offer 2 styles- a Single, Long One-piece Air Box and a set of 2 Dual Air Boxes. Prices are:

* Machine Finish- $165.00
* Polished- $200.00
* Powder-coated- $195.00 ( We can do either shiny black or matte black.)

Prices are the same for either style. Shipping is additional. They are all-aluminum construction with the exception of the steel perforated screen. Built-in velocity stacks. Unifoam air filter inside. O-rings in the mounts seal the boxes to the carbs. Attach directly to the carbs with 3 set screws per mount, 12 total included.

We've sent some pics of each style. The pic of the Single, Long Box is an example of a matte black powder-coat finish. The set of 2 Dual Boxes shows a polished finish. We can also do a combination of finishes- for example, powder-coated box with polished mounts.
