    The SkyTeam 'Ace' Resource

Yes, I thought so. I have re-geared, re-jetted, changed exhaust and CDI, but I am suspicious about the accuracy of the speedo. It did take about 5 minutes to get there and I was lying flat on the tank and though I have no tachometer, I think it was about to blow up. I don't have a smart phone...

    The SkyTeam 'Ace' Resource

The two silver things that seem to take up most of my waking hours. One is faster than the other, the other is getting faster by the week. 115 kmh on those Chinese Double Swallow Diamond Bird Nest Brand bicycle numbers is scary. I think I better get some new tyres.

Stevodude, Do you mean something like this or a full fairing? I have been thinking of something like this, it is for a Ducati 250/350 SS conversion. This company has a huge range of stuff. http://www.airtech-streamlining.com/ Check out the XS650 Road Racer. The postage would probably be a...

    M-Ject Automotive (new headers plus!)

Re: M-Ject Automotive (250cc conversion!) I know that it is the other side, but it still looks different. If you look in a line straight down from the exhaust studs, that whole round bit isn't there, which looks like it is the bit that makes it fit the frame without a bracket. Also, it might...

    M-Ject Automotive (new headers plus!)

    M-Ject Automotive (new headers plus!)

Re: M-Ject Automotive (250cc conversion!) I would definitely be interested in the AVA style Zongshen 250cc engine, if it is the same one as in the publicity shots. I really like the look of it and it appears to fit the standard frame mounts. Please let me know if you can get the numbers together.

Attempted Performance Upgrades to Exhaust and Carby Cause Starting Woes

Well that was certainly worthwhile. Went through the carburettor again and checked the jetting, slide, pen spring (still there) etc and changed up to a bigger pilot jet. Started first go with no choke. It seems it is back to normal and will now run with only two turns out of the idle mixture...

Attempted Performance Upgrades to Exhaust and Carby Cause Starting Woes

Re: "Performance" Upgrades to Exhaust and Carby Cause Starting Woes Thanks for the advice. I will check the jets and other things I have done first as I believe it is definitely something I have done to the carb set up that is causing the problem. I might have put the wrong jet in or something...

Attempted Performance Upgrades to Exhaust and Carby Cause Starting Woes

Hi everyone, I have been reading the forum for some time, there is a lot to get through and some great advice. I have seen a few threads that touch on my problems but none that combine all of them. Being mechanically inept, but keen to have a go, I ordered and installed th OORacing kit of...

    00 Racing little blue box

Hi all, I have also been wondering what the extra 2 wires were for. I asked someone who thought they were for a kill switch? I have not connected them to each other as I worried I might blow the box up. Any advice would be much appreciated. Since installing the blue CDI, the no cat exhaust...
