    thanks for the input marc, ended up stripping them and left them raw, all put back together and the bike is up and running now :)

    do it right the first time and get it coated 2 stage color and clear,, its worth the money, don't rattle can it, even with rattle can clear it will fade and yellow before you know it.

    ^hey thanks for the response, sadly its a quite exspensive battery its the lithium ion ballsitic 8cell battery, i didnt check it before i installed it, the box has a manufactur date of november, i think i completely damaged the battery as well :(

    So i bought a new battery for my bike that had been sitting for 10 years hooked it up to see if the electronics worked, nothing happened checked the battery and it drained down to 3.5volts within minutes, I've been told a short is the suspect. How do i locate the short? Tips/advice? first timer...

    Hey I wanted my carbs powdered as well had it done by a pro with all proper prep, pre baked to burn off oils, blasted, and steam cleaned... well all the carbs had severe bubbling in the powder, only thing we didn't do was pre heat the part prior to coating.     thanks man, it was fairly easy took a few measurements, made a template, a rubber mallet, heat gun, and a 32oz ball pein hammer is all I used.

    Need help dismantling 73 cb750 carb plate linkage (photos)

    hey like the title says i want to disassemble this part for powder coat i took all the bolts out tapped one end with a hammer but it wont simply slide out, any tips input or comments appreciated, in one photo you can see a bushing that popped out from me trying to get it out thanks again ] ] ] ]
