    Riding in the upper Northwest

The wife and I are looking around the country for places to live as we want badly to get out of the midwest because this is where we've always been. The Oregon/Washington area has always been a favorite of ours but I was wanting some input from you guys who live up in that area (or in the north...

    No Carb and Air board?

Honda XL350. I'm really just open to ideas on a filter combo. The pod I have on it works well and it has good power but I've honestly never tried anything on it other than the pod so I was just looking for ideas really. And yes it'd be on the street and it's a new VM36.

    No Carb and Air board?

Looking for advice on velocity stack/jet combo for a Mikuni VM36. Anyone have experience with what jet(s) would be best to use when using a velocity stack? Also, unless I'm missing something, is there no board for Carb and Intake help specifically?

    No title bs

Haha Springfield Mo, I haven't tried mainly because the verbiage of the law to obtain a lost title here makes it seem not worth it in most cases. I was curious if it was more lax elsewhere

    No title bs

What do you guys do when you come across a cycle with no title? Just say fuck it, no sale?

Found OLD Honda near Algonquin Park, Ontario. Not sure what to do with it!!!

I am diggin that last one HolyRoller. Mute colors with smooth leather. Like what deviant said, anything can be re-chromed or re-painted if it isn't shot.

    Trackers...

Well I've never let their opinion effect a build, except for safety. I was just curious about the riding dynamics of them.

    Trackers...

I ask because I may be getting scramblers confused with trackers and vice versa.

    Trackers...

Well I guess that would beg the question what's the difference? Tracker vs scrambler. BTW, I love your enduro's classic look.

    Trackers...

Help me understand tracker builds. There have been some tracker builds that make me drool with their looks and performance. But are they built for off road or street? Knobby tires on the street? Poor off road suspension off road? I could see them working in the snow, dirt road, or some flat land...

    Trackers...

Help me understand tracker builds. Honestly I've seen some trackers that make me drool with their looks and performance but, despite their typical knobby ties and such, they can't be very reliable off road with a lot of suspension choices I've seen on them. Unless said road is fairly flat. I...

Replace my chrome exhaust or paint it satin black?

If you may be considering painting them I'd suggest a black ceramic coating instead. Tough and it isn't going to rust. But chrome can be kept up with 0000 steel wool and some care. That's how I keep rust off my chrome exhausts.

    Spoke lacing problem...

I had never laced a wheel before my latest build and wanted to know how. This video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ENrRl2FyNTw Was so much help! Knowledgeable and explained exactly what to do. I was able to lace my front from a 21" to an 18" no problem after watching it a few times and while...

First full project somewhere between a Brat and Cafe

Ha looks similar to my workspace before the garage. Old desk, lone stand, and no space. In college myself and I can understand budget but like said above, don't rush anything. You'll learn a lot and even more if you try to rush through. And I wouldn't say that's necessarily a good thing haha.

    On/Off Kill Switch Question

Aw sad day. Well hey at least you're set now. I have quite a few wastes of money lying around myself.

    On/Off Kill Switch Question

Did you get this figured out? Took me a bit to get my aftermarket kill switch wired too. I pretty much just had to write in on a diagram how/where to put it.

    1975 Honda XL350 Brat/Cafe

Thanks for the advice on the tension! I was actually contemplating this. The chain really does look worse than it is. It's like the light was hitting it just right, but I still appreciate the tokens of wisdom. I'm not not considering a new one. Even though this one has less than 50 mi on it...

    1975 Honda XL350 Brat/Cafe

The bars were actually of a heavier tube. Wayyy heavier than the frame tubes. I didn't trust myself to weld the frame either so I'm hoping the pro I had do it can put his rep on it. I've actually seen a few people use bars for structure in past too.
