John, is your friend using the drum brake that comes on the standard 750 or the hub that incorporates the disc brake? And if that is the case do you know what size (length and angle) the spokes that he is using are? Thanks for the input guys your advice is appreciated!!
Hey guys, I've got a CB750 k8 with a 17" rear wheel and want to match front and rear wheel/tire sizes at 19" x 4.0. Is it viable to buy a front 19" rim and just respoke it to fit the rear brake hub? The picture is what I have in mind for wheel setup. Obviously I'm going to keep in mind that I'll...
So my right hand controls (kill/start) still have no power being run through them. After playing with it a little, I found that the negative terminal on the battery becomes hot (exothermic) after the ignition is turned on. Is this indicative of a short somewhere in the wiring? The main fuse is...
I'm all wired up now, with the black/red wire rerouted to a solid black wire, bypassing the starter. As soon as I plugged it in, I can't start the engine. I'm not sure that any power is getting to the right controls now with nothing happening from both kill switch or starter. Nothing is hot on...
Thread revive! Curious to know how you rearranged the wiring to not join up in the headlight? I just ordered a 5" headlight that wont be able to house the rats nest of wiring and I'm not sure how I'm going to be able to hide it all since the harness is a mile long.
So just connect the brown/red from the headlight wires on the left side to the black wire on the right, ok. That will bypass and keep the headlight on even when I push the starter?
It comes with a kill switch as well.
I've just got a new kill/start switch for my bike (right hand controls), but according to the wiring diagram, there's three wires that come from the start button. you can see in the top in this diagram, that there are three wires for the starter. The black (ground) and a red/black wire and a...
So I recently got a 1978 CB750K, and the exhaust the guy gave me with it is a 4-1 that is designed for the 1970 model.
This is an example of the inlet to the header that goes into the exhaust port.
This is the flange that goes over the header to clamp onto the engine (1970 version).
Now this...
Hey guys, pretty new to the forum here with my cb750K, but I have seen a couple seats that I'm obsessing over and I have no idea how to find out dimensions or what to do in order to replicate or just flat out buy seats like these. Can anyone shed some light here for me...
