    What keeps you motivated?

Ooooh yes. I know all about that too. That problem becomes much worse the more bikes you own, for some reason. :o This is when I crack open a beverage, stare at the motorcycle, and try to scheme up ways to makes some money.

    Woodstock Illinois Swap Meet??

"It's an odd place" hahaha... I like that. Seems like that's the way most swap meets are getting. A lot of overpriced junk laying in the mud. The girlfriend and I are gonna check it out anyhow, due to lack of much else going on. I should probably leave my truck at home. Too much junk already...

Kickstand for a CB350 without stock footpeg bar

If that ended up being a problem, one could always relocate the frame bracket a little further forward. A welding shop would probably charge $25.00 or so.

    Woodstock Illinois Swap Meet??

There is a swap meet this weekend at the McHenry County Fairgrounds, in Woodstock Illinois. Just wondering if anyone has ever been to that. I am trying to figure out if it's worth driving my truck down there! ::)

Kickstand for a CB350 without stock footpeg bar

Cut off the foot peg that is right above the stand, as well as the rest of the cross bar that is now redundant, and bolt it back on!

Kickstand for a CB350 without stock footpeg bar

    What keeps you motivated?

Youtube videos are good. Look up (insert your bike here) on youtube. Seeing other examples that are completed, hearing them run, seeing someone driving the bike that you're working on (hero cam videos are great!) is a good motivator. Visual and audio stimulation make me want my own to be on the...

    Cbr 600 f2 front end in a 76 xl250??? Is it possible?

Pretty much any front end can be made to fit anything. All Balls has a conversion chart on their website, which will tell you what bearings you would need to use to make swaps. The stem is what will require the most work. Sometimes, the original stem can be made to fit the donor tree clamps, be...

...and now I see that has already been suggested.

Can I see your DIY Auxiliary gas tank for tuning carbs?

Sorry I don't have pictures, but what I have done is take the fuel tank from the bike and set it on a table or bench next to the bike & put longer fuel lines on it. That's pretty close to free & is not a safety hazard.

RD350 (or any 1.85x18) Front Wheel on CB360

Thanks :D If you are patient, and have good enough references, you can do it. Take plenty of pictures of the wheel before you take it apart. (Assuming you haven't already) Read some tutorials and / or watch some youtube videos on the subject. The thing that I learned on the front wheel, is...

"The Parts Pile" A CL350 Cafe from a heap of junk...

Re: The Parts Pile CL350 Cafe Thanks Dave- So far so good, except one really dumb-ass mistake that I made. When I mounted my tires, I got done and then realized that I put a couple of scratches and little dings in the shoulder of one side of the rear wheel. Not sure how, but maaaan. I was...

"The Parts Pile" A CL350 Cafe from a heap of junk...

Re: The Parts Pile CL350 Cafe I figured I'd also have the original fender mount holes welded up, as I am not going to be using them. I will most likely fashion some sort of rear fender / splash shield, but not in the factory style. I am very happy with the results here!
