Kickstand for a CB350 without stock footpeg bar

What are people using for their CB bikes with rear sets? I'd rather not use the center stand and stick with a kick stand.

cheers

You can cut the kickstand off of the bar. It will bolt to the frame. Hard to explain without a pic, but take a look at yours and you'll see what I mean.

I'm picking up what your putting down. Thanks mate. Maybe i'll do some cutting tonight!

Cut off the foot peg that is right above the stand, as well as the rest of the cross bar that is now redundant, and bolt it back on!

Yup. Just remember the LocTite.

Problem is, depending on where your rearsets are, the foot of the stand gets in the way of the shifter or foot. Still maybe doable depending on your rearset setup or foot size :) I'm still going to try and use the stock sidestand with mine but don't have the rearsets dialed in yet.

If that ended up being a problem, one could always relocate the frame bracket a little further forward. A welding shop would probably
charge $25.00 or so.

here is what I had done while some other things were being fabricated. -- cut up stock mount and adda little metal, weld to frame forward of rearsets.. *** side note , you will want to ditch the CB350 kickstand and get a 500 or 305 kickstand instead as they are longer. When you do this mod it makes the bike have a pretty extreme lean angle with stock stand.
