Currently living in Australia, can't bare the thought of selling my cafe racer I have built over the last few years, would like to pack it up in a crate and freight it over to Canada when I move back permanently in August 2012. checked out the RIV site, my bike meets Canadian standards as far as...

    KZ 400 Sidestand Issue

I have a KZ 250 pretty sure they are the same frame, I had the same issue after talking to a friend who has built parts for several custom bikes we decided the easiest and best way was to cut it off and reweld it on a better angle, if you have access to a welder this is the best solution, I...

How to change a mechanical tach to an electronic one

don't think so I will have to check the schismatic, I did replace the coils about a month ago, and it goes from points, to the coil to a capacitor then ground and then spark plug lead come from the coil. It is a KZ 250 and I see that you have a KZ 500 reference in your signature.

How to change a mechanical tach to an electronic one

I just purchased a cheap Chinese tachometer on ebay, it is an analog style gauge but is wired up electrically, I was wondering how to wire it up properly, I would assume that it would go to either the coil or the points, The instructions that I received were all in Chinese, so they are not a lot...

    Induction problem

Had a bit of an incident the other night, choke flap screw loosened off inside my carb and choke flap 1/2 went into my carb and held open the vacuum piston. Needless to say the bike kept accelerating, I hit the kill switch and pushed it back to my girlfriends house (from which I just left). Next...

looking for a kawi wiring diagram

I would imagine they would be quite similar, It's a cost benefit to use 1 wiring harness for every bike of that size. I have a kz250A1 and the wiring harness is the same for that one as the 305 and apparently the 400 according to the motorcycle wrecker that I see to go scavenge for parts.

Look at those the suspension shop that I called in Brisbane wants $550 for the set, figured I could get a better deal off the net, I find prices in this country are quite inflated compared to the rest of the world.

Looking for shocks that won't break the bank

These look pretty sweet however it says they exclude shipping to pretty much every country in the world on the exception of England. Since I live in Australia that takes care of that.
