    GS750 valve clearance

Is this right? The spec is pretty much an entire set of feeler gauges. I work on 15 liter diesel engines with tighter clearance specs that that lol.

    '78 Suzuki GS750 build

Hello everybody. This is my second build. I built a 72 CB750 before this. I'm hoping this will be faster and better handling than the old Honda. I've just finished most of the frame mods. I plan on running a 84 GS1150es front end and early GSXR 17" wheels. Not a whole lot to show right now but...

Impossible to do the speed limit on the highway...

Every time I get out on the highway I find myself cruising between 85-100mph. When I slow down to 70ish because of traffic or just because i notice how fast I'm really going, it feels like I'm barely moving. Anyone else have this issue or am I just too much of a speed demon for a bike that...

    1972 CB750 w/rear sets, clip-ons and what nots $2000

Hey guys, I have my '72 CB750 for sale. Hate to sell it but I'd like to buy a house sometime soon. I built this bike to be more like a vintage road race bike than a cafe racer. It started as a stock bike that had sat for a while. It was then tore down to the bare frame, sand basted, modded, and...

    Gas Monkey Garage....

Anyone else try to watch this show? They do some kinda cool stuff and then a shit load of dumb stuff. They built a Lincoln Continental, and tried to put 22''s on it. When they won't fit they extended all of the fenders, and tried to sell it right away instead of just going with smaller wheels. I...

Fork brace? To do or not to do?

I have a '72 cb750 with an 81 cb750 front end on it. I'll get a bit of head shake on windy days and in higher speed sweeping turns with any bumps The bike get unstable. I've been thinking of getting a fork brace but it's $100. I've heard lots of good things but it's always been a friend of a...

Anyone else feel like their project is breaking the bank?

I'm really close to finally finishing my first build, which has lead to a lot "rapid" unplanned parts buying. The unplanned part lead to looking for the best deal (cheapest) which lead to eBay which lead to disappointment and having to spend more money on the correct parts. It seemed so much...

    Reverse shift pattern anyone?

I getting ever closer to taking my bike out for it's first ride, since the over haul. I shortened my shifter and turned it around backwards, to work with my rear sets. I'm kinda worried about the 1 up 5 down pattern now. Just wondered if anyone else is running a reverse shift pattern and if so...

Anyone tried the Nolan N30 and N20?

I've always thought these helmets had a nice retro look, but I've never heard any feed back from anyone who has used them. I'm strongly considering getting one of them but I'm pretty unsure which way to go. Well, here's some pics of them. haha sorry for the huge pics :P

    Front brakes dont "feel" right...

Hello everybody! I have a '72 CB750, with a complete '77 Cb750 supersport front, and a '04 CBR RR master cylinder. I have steel braided lines, I've bled and bled the system, finally got some feel out of the lever, but it still feels pretty soft. I can still pull the lever till it touches the...

    '72 CB750 apartment build....

Gentlemen! I give you my 1972 CB750, cafe racer. I've owned the bike for about 3 years. It sat in a barn for how knows how long. The engine turned over when I, so i picked it up for $600 with a clear title. All it took was cleaning the carbs a bit and an IV bottle to get it running. Naturally...
