I did mine in metal but I used 18 gage... way to heavy, hard to work with. It is my first attempt at metal work. I will end up redoing it but I don't think its too bad for a first try.

Had another set back electrically but its fixed now and as soon as I get the new tail light it's on the road. I took it for a quick ride up the private road at our land and I have a big ass grin on my face.

Thanks! The paint was matached to the RAL number and looked really close on my test sample but on the tins it is off a little I think the black surounding it make it look darker than it is and/or my novice painting. ;D

Eleganten; This exhaust has been the topic of much debate. The conector is split and the pipe actualy bends down inside the collector. I don't think the back pressure is going to be a problem as it is the bends in an exhaust make up most of the back pressure. I am more concerned about the heat...
