    Also, buying both and restoring the better of the two cheaply and selling for more will help fund the other one. I did that with the cm. used the spare parts off the project bike to make a nicer restored bike and completely funded both bikes from that one sale.

    I like those gauges! the speed isnt to bad priced at $59. Where did you get the tach from? Also, how did th e hook up mechanically? Just using the stock speedo/tach cables? Nice work too! Keep us updated.

    Thanks, I posted on sohc4.us about this, but the gasket seems to be missing around the tach drive, but the previous owner just covered it with silicon. It hasnt leaked from there yet, so i'll prob just leave it like that. You can see it here...

Hahah. apparently the chain had broken when the previous owner had it, and the chain slapped the crankcase right underneath the front sprocket and put a nice dime sized hole in it.
