well i have the title to the bike, and he freely admits he had the engine and does not anymore. would that be enough you think? I'm pretty sure i'll be taking him to court over it. in essence a bike shop sold my stuff as inventory when it was in for a repair.

i grabbed the fault finder chart and ran through it after i push started it and ran it around the block 4 or 5 times. with the bike running i measured the battery and got 13.6v @ 3k rpm and 15.2v @ 5k. following the chart i counted the wires on the RR and went to section D and stopped the bike...

i'll hafta get it charged up fully again. ran it out around town for a grip, kept the rpm's higher than i normally would. it's been sittin for 2 hours and battery measured 11v terminal to terminal. is that a little low with the bike off?
