I'm looking for the Honda emblem that goes on the front of the bike between the forks. I can't seem to find any on eBay or Craigslist and the junkyards around me have barely anything when it comes to motorcycles and when they do they are picked pretty clean. Didn't know if anybody here had one...
I posted this in my '77 CB750K build thread as well but thought I might get more answers here...
Out of nowhere I seemed to have developed a pinhole leak in my gas tank. So.... anyone have any thoughts on what's the best way to fix this? The leak is incredibly small. It's just above the carbs...
I picked up a 1977 CB750K off of Craigslist a little over a week ago. I posted some pictures the day I got it home but I figured I might as well start a build thread. I had been browsing Craigslist everyday for awhile now, I really enjoyed fixing up my '79 CM400T and wanted a new project to work...
With the help of my dad and brother I went and picked up a 77' CB750K off of craigslist today. I'm now flat broke so it may take me a little while to get a real build going so I figured I'd post some pictures here for now. Can't wait to start working on this. I'll start tomorrow by tearing off...
I'm going out tomorrow to check out an 81' CB750C. It runs, has a title, and the owner's only asking $900 obo. Sounds like a good deal to me.
I like the 70's CB's better but I haven't seen any in my area that are running for under $2000.
Anyone know anything I should look out for in these...
Anybody on here from the Philly area? I live just outside the northeast on the edge of Bucks County. It'd be cool to meet up and ride with some other members once the weather's right.
I'm looking to change my speedometer and tachometer on my 79' CM400T to some 2.5" chrome mini's from DCC but I'm not sure what the ratio's are. Wondering if anyone on here has made the switch already and knew which to buy? Thanks.
I'm looking to replace the shocks on my CM400. I rode it all last season while I fixed it up but the shocks were pretty beat. I had to jack them all the way up to their maximum setting just to keep from bottoming out on the slightest of bumps, so I figure it's time for a fresh set. I found a...
I have a 79' CM400T and I can't stand the 2-up seat that it has on it. I know the late 70's and early 80's CB's had the same sloped body lines as the CM's did but the CB's also had a flat seat. So my basic question is would a CB400T seat cover fit onto my CM400 seat pan if I got some new foam?
I've been lurking around this site for about a year now and finally bought a bike back in December, a 1979 Honda CM400T. This is my first build as well as my first bike so it's taken me a little bit of time to get some stuff done. Luckily I have a brother who rides and a dad who let's me use his...
