Hey
You know i think i may have had the hight beams on....
In the morning, when i could see, I found that a fuse was blown. Im gonna replace it and see what happens.
Hopefully i can chalk it up to just being an old fuse, but the spike that blew it concerns me.
Tomorrow Ill check for what you...
Hey
I have a 77' CB750K.
I took it out tonight for a spin and was kind of ripping around on it here and there.
I got the bike up to about 50-60 twice in some short strectches and just as i decelerated the last time, the headlight turned off and the bike was dead. I glided to a stop
i turned...
Cool.
Yea I was hoping that maybe someone here would have a similar seat already upholstered, but I think I am just gonna go to RocCity and get a seat.
They look great, are way cheaper than Benjies or the other fab guys out there, and he has a good selection...plus he's a part of this forum and...
Hey,
Thanks for the reply!
Thats a cool seat but im looking for something with a more round race style end. I will be painting the back of the seat where the light goes and need a decent "canvas" for some paint design...The Manx style is just a bit too sleek/thin
Hey Guys,
Im looking for a cafe seat to finish my 77' CB750K.
I want it to look similar to this style:
-Dont care if its painted or not (I paint bikes for a living so will be doing it over anyway).
-Seat padding would be nice but not a necessity
-I'd like it to fit a CB750 without too...
I am looking for the following 1977 CB750K parts:
-CB750K Gas Tank (I guess it can be any tank as long as it fits a CB750K without any extra fabbing)
-Front fender
-Rear Fender (preferably with the turn signals and brake light assemblies)
-Side covers
None of these parts need to be in perfect...
I have a seat from a 1977 CB750. It has no tears or weak spots. Leather is in great condition.
Was just about the only thing in almost perfect condition on the bike i just bought. since its eventually being replaced with a cafe seat, I dont need it.
$70
The seat is this style seat:
I will...
Hey man,
Will these fit without much effort to a 77 CB750K? I'm done fumbling around with stuff...its riding season and I'm sick of "custom fabbing" everything....I JUST WANNA RIDE!!! haha
Let me know. I need these for my bike as its pretty much near completion.
Thanks
Ok...see you were right....haha
Mine is definitely a 77' SOHC. (I only wish I bought it in the condition above)
Luckilly this isn't effecting anything i'm ordering or need to order as far as the rest of my build goes.
Thanks for the double take!
I have been known to screw these types of things up....haha
You may be right (you probably actually are right) about the SOHC....but I could have sworn it said DOHC
Ill check it when i get home
The plate on the frame says 77' DOHC. I thought the same thing as well when i first saw the bike, but then found other 77 DOHC's
I was sure to check this before i bought it.
