Omfg, I have been trying to remove two swingarm needle bearings from my GPZ750 for TWO WEEKS! I am using a bearing puller I got from autozone, it has the slide hammer and everything. I have soaked them in penetrating oil, heated the outside, froze it overnight and then heated the outside...
Welp, just got myself another bike. The garage was getting mighty empty with only the two bikes and they needed a new friend. Preliminary plans include rebuilding the carbs, then new rotors, brakes, seat, belly pan, flyscreen, headlight, and some paint. Anyway thats it for now.
It is $250, plus around $300 for registration. Runs well, needs front brake pads, and tires, has new battery. Want to build something along these lines:

I just finished rebuilding my 79 xs650 special and it runs great except for one issue. When I am on the freeway it runs great but I when I stop from the freeway it either dies or when I rev it, it take a while for the rpms to come down. It will start right back up, but same issue...
