Does anyone know if a Honda Rebel 250 fuel tank will fit on a Honda Nighthawk 250 frame? Or does anyone know of a place where I could get a smaller tank that would fit a 250 Nighthawk?
I have a honda nighthawk and am interested in mounting a rear fender that attaches to the swingarm with struts, and could weld brackets to the frame, but I want to avoid welding as musch as possible. I've seen bikes with mounting brackets that slip onto the swingarm, like this...
I've seen some people talk about doing this on here before, but I was wondering if just cutting down shock springs to lower the back end of a bike is a bad thing. What sort of problems would this cause? I assume you would have to cut them from the bottom. Is that correct? Thanks.
I wasn't sure where exactly I should post, so here is the link to my first and current project, a Nighthawk cb250.

I recently purchased a 94 cb250 nighthawk from a friend for $500. It has 1,800 miles on it and runs like a champion. After taking some time to learn how to ride, I started working on making it my own.
Here is my workshop. My roommate also has the same nighthawk, but needs to get it registered...
I just got a pod in for my cb 250 and was wondering what people did as far as oiling the filter. Is that something I should do? What is the best way to do it? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Hello all! A friend and I are currently riding and working on our first bikes. I got a great deal on a cb 250 nighthawk and am turning it into a bobber, and my buddy has an xs 400 which he is turning into a cafe. I look forward to sharing my/our progress on here with everyone!
