had a similar experience when looking for pilot jets for mikuni BS, It's possible they have mixed up the needles, since different models can have the same number but have vastly different sizes (but the same number). Didn't you get the seat for the needle valve as well?

Now that is a killer build! Love the workmanship, the cowl and seat is just stunning! (and the paint scheme that is almost identical to my own bike ;) )

Needs carb cleaning, but well.. the price was good and tank, frame and fairings are all recently painted. any tips on where to find a cheap but functional starter relay for the GSX400F?

I think in general you get what you pay for as you long as your not in the middle of tourist attractions.. (Ie in Venice, don't stay on the island, stay on the mainland! The public transportation is good and regular so no need to stay in the kill box so to speak :P) Other than that enjoy your...
