That's definately driver capable. Here's my 64 Valiant that I daily drove until mechanical issues took her off the road. Passenger front "floor pan" Driver floor pan The passenger goes through to the rear "pan" area as well. I'm working on getting the mechanicals straightened out to...

does this look like frame rot to you?

http://winstonsalem.craigslist.org/cto/1864457869.html Dunno if that's the year model range your looking for. There are several sites online that allow you to search an entire state's craigslist ads.

Almost became highway pizza last night,

Exactly, not to mention all that shit eats away at the rim as well. None of them are intended for prolonged use. I've seen automotive rims that've been eaten so badly that they won't allow the bead to seat. Pure garbage.

http://charlotte.craigslist.org/mcy/1884429250.html This is NOT my bike, I'd just love to see it saved, looks to be in pretty decent shape compared to most. 1972 CB175. first bike, first build.

Just a little fyi in case you end up doing another seat pad with the diamond pleats, to get the pleats to be more prominant you need to sew the padding to the vinyl/leather. If the padding doesn't have a scrim backing you will need to add material to the back side as well to prevent the material...

Honda CA77 - My Dream Project - This may be a first

This shall be interesting. If you look hard enough you will find customized ones in Japan. Though I don't recall anyone making a chopper out of one.

I dig the frame color. I don't think anyone will blame you for getting it rideable and focusing on pretty later. If I had everything to do so, I'd do that myself. :)

Cleaning out the garage for charity!

I've beat and pried the advancer on my cam more and it still has not come off. I'm ready to just pick up a seperate head and drop this one in some sort of solution or try a three jaw puller to rip that advancer off. So if the whole head is available, I'd be interested in the whole thing. I...

The views of the time were for the most part that slave ownership was widely accepted. That is how they were aquired, they were slaves in Africa then they were slaves in America. Look at the way slaves were treated in Egypt. They were treated very well comparably. Even the slaves in Africa at...

My point is that the US was founded on the very same actions that he's bitching about. People are too worried about ownership, when in reality the land was there before and will be there after and it should be free to be used by anyone. This country was founded on murder. But everyone likes to...

This is why the term "ignorance is bliss" was coined. Such close-mindedness is what is abhorrent. The English settlers who came to America and established the colonies on stolen Native American land did so to be an indivdual establishment of colonies free of the religious and other tyronies set...

1972 CB175. first bike, first build.

Have you checked the front brake switch wiring? Sounds like you're only focusing on the rear. The two wires should not be touching for the rear brake. Electrical tape them individualy to make sure they don't make a connection causing it to engage the rear brake light. Then disconnect the rear...

Vintage 3/4 lid + Vintage Motorcross faceguard = One Bad MOFO lid...

Hold up to that exactly. High speed winds and any rocks and debris flung at the lower portion of my face. I'm not sure if something would need to be sandwitched in to make it work without collapsing in the wind or with small impacts.

No Starter. Smaller Battery. 1971 CB175 Racer.

Thanks for the info, definitely let me know how that works out for you. I'll be ditching the starter as well, and no blinkers, just a head light and brake light. Maybe illumination to the gauges.

No Starter. Smaller Battery. 1971 CB175 Racer.

I want to do the exact same thing. How is the bore tech unit? I read before about a guy building his own battery packs (more for race use than constant street use) on a 160. Thought I'd try it on my 175 eventually. I'll try to find that link again.
