Ok, at the 3 hour mark I killed it. I could definitely have let it tumble for awhile longer, but I'm impatient and wanted to know the results. Presto! Not the the amazing eat-off-it bare metal that some methods produce, but for cost, cleanup, ease, and set-it-and-forget it rotisserie style...

I think people just neglect the fuck out of them here. If it is outside, it's exposed to rain frequently. If it is covered, it is still exposed to ridiculous amounts of humidity all the time, which tends to rot them from the inside out. I'm a bicycle mechanic and I see pristine appearance older...
