Wanted to revive this old thread to see if anyone in the last few years has had more experience with shipping a bike within the US? From what I've seen it's usually around $500+. Anyone have recommendations for services or have experience doing this??

UPDATE! Wow it's been forever. Since I last posted I wrapped the pipes, and let the bike sit for a little too long. More importantly, I got married! Been super busy and finally am getting around to updating this. It's better weather now so I brought the bike over to our new place and am ready...
