I just noticed yesterday when filling up the gas tank that the paint around the filler hole of the gas tank is bubbling a bit. More specifically, i guess it's not the paint, it's the clear, the paint underneath looks to be ok. I don't remember spilling anything last time i filled up (nov 11)...

I'm looking for some used saddlebags for longer trips and came across some pictures of people mounting up old ammunition boxes. Anybody try this? I dig the look. Alternatively, anybody out there have bags they aren't using? Or, any recommendations? Something vintage-looking.

Has anyone built their own idiot light panels? I'm thinking really small and concealed, to get rid of the huge panel on my cb750. Maybe LED? Carpy has some for sale, but not exactly inexpensive. Any ideas?

I noticed a number of bikes sporting these types of mirrors. How adjustable are they, aside from rotating inside the bar ends. I'm wondering if they can rotate horizontally (ie, outward/inward). There are a ton of them on ebay. Good buy? Any issues on the throttle side? Thanks

Well folks, after many pointless web searches I can't seem to come up with a good answer. I bought a new stator but there is a chip in the coating covering the stator winding, exposing the wires. This is probably why the yellow leads are grounding. Do any of you know what the best product is...

Gents, I recently replaced a bad alternator & regulator/rectifier on a cb750 that i recently purchased. The previous owner had a jumper instead of a 30amp fuse at the main fuse, so i replaced that with a 30amp fuse. I noticed that the plastic behind & beside the 30amp main fuse is melted...

I slapped on some 11" shocks on the back of my cb750. Looks good but the sidestand is too long to use. Any advice on cutting the sidestand down? Thanks
