    Pulling the tank/Pamco Qs

Can you expound on this a bit? I am familiar with static timing with a timing light with stock points, but am unsure what the process is with the PAMCO. By the way OP, the installation of the PAMCO is very straight forward. I lined up the notch in the PAMCO plate with the timing notch on my...

Clutch cable (thread) rubbing on front sprocket? (HELP)

Yeah. That's what I plan on doing if I can't figure anything else out, but I want to try and make sure I address the cause of the issue.. so something doesn't go wrong further down the road.

Clutch cable (thread) rubbing on front sprocket? (HELP)

Thanks so much for doing this. I'll measure mine after work today and compare. It was also brought to my attention that since the bike has been sitting for a bit the wet clutch plates can get stuck together, possibly letting the push-rod slide further inward. I'm going to pull the clutch and...

Clutch cable (thread) rubbing on front sprocket? (HELP)

Yeah, I just looked up the disassembly diagram, and there is only the one bearing that is listed. I need to check on the length of the push-rod, but don't have a control to measure against.

Clutch cable (thread) rubbing on front sprocket? (HELP)

If you mean externally between the worm gear and the pushrod, yes, and it is installed. That is the first thing I thought to check, haha. If you mean inside the case, between the internal workings of the clutch itself and the pushrod, I don't know, and don't think so. I don't know how it would...

Clutch cable (thread) rubbing on front sprocket? (HELP)

Nope, replaced with a regular chain. I had researched/read the horror stories of O-ring chains prior to changing parts out.

Clutch cable (thread) rubbing on front sprocket? (HELP)

I've been working on my 73 CB450 for a bit, and one of the most difficult replacement parts to find was the clutch thread. The old one was half gone, and I found a perfectly new one on eBay. Last night was the first time to try and start it after putting everything together. When I initially...

NEED: stock upper triple tree for 70's CB450/750

While dismantling my front end, the clamps of my top tree fell apart. I need a replacement, and would rather spend my money here than on ebay. I would also use the top tree from a compatible CB750 as well. Feel free to reply, PM, or even call/text me. Thanks in advance! -cody...

Suggest me a small sealed battery

I'm in the process of tuning my carbs to get mixture and sync correct, and the current installed battery is in need of replacement, so I can't speak to battery issues or experiences yet. Thanks for the word back, and good luck!

    cb350 clubman

I feel like clubmans are just a baby-step to clip-ons. You'll technically need shorter cables with both options, and the wiring hassles are worse with the clubmans due to the 90 degree bend. I ended up cutting a set of clubmans into three pieces, running the wires, then re-welding them to get...
