    thanks guys, i totally got it ironed out, just waiting on new pilot jet's and i'm good to go. I actually swapped in some new plugs and found the tiniest air leak at the carb gasket. So with that done, the plugs are reading right on, now just need those pilots and i'm good to go for summer.

    Everything is sync'd, but i've got no stuck idle or racing, it actually idles smoothly at 1100 and excelerates just as smooth. Right now everything is set exactly the same, slides, jets, needles, floats set, everything identical. So it is okay to tune each cylinder independently?

    Well the guys at THR we happy to replace the jets once i let them know of the mistake. The jets came in the mail this afternoon and as long as it doesn't snow tomorrow i should be able to give them a test run. Either way i'll be putting in an order for a range of smaller jets.

    Todd, thank you for the input. I spoke with THR today, they confirmed that my carbs had the wrong mains in them and are sending out the proper jets on monday. Hopefully i'll be in business with the proper jetting by next weekend.

    Yea i've got jets on order. As for the sputtering on the top end it's past the point of the needle effecting it. The needle doesn't effect much of anything after 3/4 throttle. Oh well i'll get it ironed out as soon as the jets come in.

    Well i've opted to run the stock carbs for now while i do some more research and order a nice range of jets. Thanks for the input guys, i'll get some pics of the bike before and after on here pretty soon.

    Well let me ask you this, aren't the hex jets rated for smaller amounts of fuel flow compared to the round jets? All of the research i've done says that most people are running 130 - 150 round jets, so if the conversion chart i found is right, a 190 hex jet should have roughly the same amount...

    Pedals = moped, moped with pedals removed = no-ped. Mopeds ride like motorcycles, legs around the bike, scooters ride like a lazy boy, legs in front. Most scooter purists don't like mopeds and most moped purists don't like scooters. Minus the all out brawling it's very mods vs rockers.
