jqdp. The round slides have better throttle responce and are better for fast riding. If you have alot of mods done to the motor or exhaust/intake there way easyer to tune. But the stock cv's are smoother through the rpm range and as PJ has shown can be tuned with enough work. Most of my riding...
I ended getting the VM30's from DCC for my 360. Andoor had some great carb specs and i only had to make minor adjustments.

My coils were fine but the wires were cracked. NGK makes inline splicers that connect right by the coil so you can instal new wires and plug caps. They were easy to install and ive had no problems at all.
Well the weather looks like crap and most people have bailed. I think we should try to hit Winthrop on another weekend. Im going to go on a smaller ride on Sunday morning if any one wants to join in.

Thanks for posting the carb settings. Ill have to fine tune a little but my bike is running better than ever with the same setting settings as yours. Just a slight rich spot at 1/8 throttle.
Well ive had a little time to fiddle with the carbs. They were way to rich out of the box(as to be expected) so i tried andoors settings and finaly i have a bike thats fun to ride. Its a little rich at 1/8 throttle right now so hopefully ill be able to dial it in tomorrow. Ill post the final...
PJ, I hate to hear things like that happening. It ruins the vibe we have on this site. Without yours and many others advice on this site my bike probably wouldnt run. Thanks
