i checked the stator and have resistance in spec between all three yellow. @.9 to 1.1 ohms nothing to gnd. I even soldered the connections, no change

Save for a couple of vintage decals, some polishing, and tuning my CB836 is complete. Rolled it out of the house today and snapped a few. Enjoy.
First a pic of it halfway stripped. My comp crashed with the other before pics.
then,
I was outside setting up the bike after getting it running and i noticed something out of the norm.
I was measuring the temperature of my exhaust pipes at the same spot on each, around six inches from the head, and came up with some numbers.
Cylinder 1 past 300 deg F
Cylinder 2 past 300 deg F...
The motor is a new 836, never been fired. I cranked it over for about two minutes with no build in pressure. I have a gauge at the port just above the points cap and an oil light which didn't go out either. I won't fire it until i have pressure.
Just wondering how long it should take to...
Putting the bike back together i have all the electrical working except for the headlight circuit. The harness is new and everything else works.
Consulting the wiring diagram for K1-K5 Cb750 it looks like power for the headlight circuit happens at a connection point from the tach light circuit...

Some excellent options for gas tank fillers. I have the monza style, top notch product.
So I have gone and added another disc up front on my cb750. When fitting all of this clearance and spacing were major issues just to get the units assembled. Calipers are all rebuilt and pads are new. Fluid has not flowed through this system yet. Rotor thickness is equal from side to side...
