Does anyone know if it is possible to use a xs650 hardtail for a xs400? I know the frames are different, but i want to know if they are too far apart from each other that its not worth trying? Thanks, Mike

My RD 400 is gurgling? When i try to pull out it loses power and when i try to give it some gas it gurgles and dies. Any help would be great. Thanks, Mike

I have a 77 Rd400 that I'm trying to insure but the VIN number on the Title is the same as the number on the frame and engine and stricker. Does any one know how many digits are in the RD vin number or where i can find it?

My '77 RD 400 runs. but it seems to rev really high and when i give it gas it takes a long time before the rpm's come down. I know it is supposed to rev high because its a two stroke, but it seems to be reving too high. Any suggestions? Thanks, Mike

I started this build last fall and I am about done. I am having some trouble keeping gas in it tho. When i turn the gas on it flows right out of the carbs. Everything seems to be working correctly on the inside of the carbs. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fic this? Thanks, MIke...
