    rd350 '73 front wheel assembly - I f'd up.

I did not forget the front hub center spacer before pressing in new bearings...but I did forget the flange spacer that slides over the center spacer. Can I get by without it? Would love not having to drive new bearings out. I packed the hub with grease and the spacer is aligned, axle fits fine...

    Nostalgia in 20 years

Perhaps this is a case of 'if you had to ask, then...' but I'd like to take it a step further and speculate. Is the culture of vintage bikes, and the various makes/models people turn in to cafe racers, purely a product of nostalgia? or is there something else about these mid-century era sport...

Rim effect on rake and stability? RD350 vs TZ350

Requesting opinions to the following: If I'm correct, rake on an RD350 is 27 degrees and a TZ350 has a rake of 25 degrees. Being very similar, is it desireable to make changes to achieve 25 degrees of rake on an RD? And, if so, is increasing the size of the rear rim a reasonable way to...

    Janus Motorcycles

Any of you heard of Janus? They are a startup here in Indiana, just got production going. Their stuff is all original, hand built to my knowledge. They're starting with 2-strokes and heading 4-stroke eventually (EPA). Thought I'd do what I can to get their name out there...

Time to Contribute! RD350 Cafe Build

I've used this site from the "outside" for a while, and have really enjoyed reading about various builds and now it's time for me to contribute. I used a variety of forums, but have particularly enjoyed this one. My build has started from a roadworthy 1973 RD350 that I decided to tear apart and...
