So somebody come get this stuff. I'm forced to move all this stuff out of here. My loss your gain. If someone wants to cone get these parts they can have them. I'm done shipping stuff. For what i make per hour at work it doesn't make any sense to waste my time trying to sell, ship, etc this...
Anyone else ever notice how lousy the wiring is on the old Hondas. I'm restoring an 1971 CB350 and just am beside myself. THere is a bunch of stuff that has no ground feeding it. I guess it is just supposed to be magicly grounded through painted pieces, bearings, etc. How does a starter button...
I was wondering if anyone out there has capped off the two ports for the crossover tube. It is a pita to deal with and just another place to possolbly leak gas. My CM400 didn't have one and it worked fine.

Pretty dam frustrated. I was doing everything to make this bike jsut about perfect. I've probalby got like 200 hours into this stuipid thing plus a bunch of money. I go to fire it up for the first time today and it caught on fire!! A gas leak on one of the carb drain screws was the culprit. I...

I'm restoring a 1971 CB350 twin. Unfortunately all of the chrome parts had a little to a lot of rust damage.
I'm looking for the following that fits my bike in OEM form so I can slowly replace rusted parts:
rear shocks, rear fender, rear grab handle, rear weird chrome bolts (step bolts for...
Most of the engine case bolts in my stainless kit came with matching flat washer. But some bolts didn't come with washers?? So should I use washers or not??
I haven't even finished my CB350 restoration project yet and I'm really tempted to buy another bike. It is a running 1974 Suzuki GT550 for $400. Supposedly its all there except the mirrors and the chrome is good tank is clean inside etc. It has 23,000on it. So how much do you think this bike is...
There is a parts bike in RI that I want or at least want some stuff off from. The owner doesn't want to part it out but I want the bike or at least parts off it. I can give you some money. Great skiing and snowmobiling up this way ;)
Doing a resto and wondering the best, quickest method to clean aluminum fins on a engine head. I have some stuff called Nu-Brite and Renuze that we use at work for cleaning aluminum HVAC coils. It makes them nice and bright clean (acidic). Would that work or should I just use simple green and...
Is it just me or are carb kits usually not nesasary? The brasss parts are usually fine after I clean them. Really I just need the rubber parts and new SS or zinc plated screws. Anyone sell a kit like that? Anyone have the orings list for a 1971 CB350 twin carb?
I see all of these people polishing up their alum parts and it DOES look sweet but I was thinking, don't most of the parts come with protective clearcoat from the factory? If you polish it up what protects the aluminium from corroding and looking like crap?
So what is the most effective cheap way to remove light rust from chrome parts? Does soda really work?
I've used scotchbrite but that scratches the chrome some.
I just bought a 1971 CB350. I probably paid too much for it in the condition it is but oh well.
I'd like to eventually make it a mint stock bike. Stuff I'm looking for is the following pieces with no rust or dents or very little rust or dents:
Rear wheel/rim
both mufflers
clutch lever
front...
