Hi guys, I would like to replace the stock idiot lights on my GS450 for some LED equivalent. I've already positioned them where I would like them. My question is: As the LEDs are rated at 12v, do I still need some kind of resistor wired in?

So I got the bug and I went ahead and splashed out on a second bike... A US imported GS450T that I want to make to my taste. Bearing in mind that I've never really done any mechanical work but I've got the willingness to have a go I thought I'd start with the "simple" task of fitting clip ons...

I have a GS450T and I'm not too keen on the "cruiser" position. I'd like to change this and possibly also get a bit more clearance bw the rear wheel and the seat. I was thinking of getting the forks higher up through the triple clamp and maybe longer rear shocks? I thought I'd ask how...
