No I just used some flat black, oil based rustoleum paint (brush on type). Would love to powder coat the frame, but not enough cash for that.

    1979 CB650 Carbs - Slow Jets

I did... Get a pair of vice grips, and knuckle down on the pressed in jets and they will pop right out. May have to wiggle it a little bit to pull it out. After dropping in the pods and the new jets the bike was still running a little lean at high rpm. I found these...

    1979 CB650 Carbs - Slow Jets

I did the cardinal sin and I added pod filters to my 1979 CB650 and then cut off the baffles on the exhaust. I found this site (http://www.chinonthetank.com/2010/08/cb650-pod-filters/) that speaks of what the best slow and main jet sizes are. I took the carbs off and I am trying to remove my...

This is kind of an odd question, but why would my front brake and my clutch levers have two wires coming off of them? CB650 - Mini Speedo & Tach - Dual turn indicators to single

I would appreciate some guidance on this: I am in the process of installing a set of the mini speedo/tach from DCC (link below). The mini speedo includes the indicator lights that were in the stock center indicator light panel. The only issue I see is that the stock indicators had a light for...

Anyone have any experience putting DCC's brat upswept seat (http://www.dimecitycycles.com/vintage-brat-style-chassis-seat-parts-ribbed-black-leather-wrapped-dcc-originals-large-cc-seat-dcc-bratlcc-r.html) using DCC's rear tail hoop...

Progress Pic 1: stripped the tank down to bare metal, using Boeshield T-9 to protect it. Cut the old trumpets off, and went to smaller mufflers, which I high temp painted and exhaust wrapped.
