1973 CL 350 Scrambler Steering Head Bearing Question

Can anyone tell me the exact number of steel balls I should have for each bearing? I currently have 37. If the part diagrams at Bike Bandit are accurate, then I'm short, but I can not find the number needed for a complete steering head assembly. Thanks

    1973 CL350 front end recommendations...

So I have this 73 CL350 that I've been tinkering with for some time. It was given to me many years ago and I got it running and gave it to my son when he graduated college. He cut his teeth riding this and went on to bigger and better bikes. He gave it back to me, so I tore it down with the...

F/S: FZ1 Wheels and Rotors. Chester, VA

WHEELS: These came off my 2003 Yamaha FZ1 at around 35K miles when I did my R1 wheel swap. The front wheel has a bent lip from high speed contact with a piece of 4X4 lumber, but still seats a bead and runs with no wobble or shaking. I've run the front wheel in this condition for a good 10 years...

    Help Identifying This Bike...

Picked this up the other day from a friend. I originally thought it was a 76-80 RM 250, but now I'm not so certain, but I can't say for certain since the guy cut the steering head off. And before anyone asks or makes the implication, I don't think it's stolen, at least not by him at any rate...

    73 CL 350 frame welding...

I have the frame stripped and it's ready to go the welder soon. My goal is to stiffen the frame to reduce flex. I will have the welder tig up the seams, but I am also interested in adding stiffeners from the rear spine to the down tubes. Does anyone have pics or dimensions handy or point me...

    Votes needed for my daughter.

My daughter Ainsley has entered a competition for the Dr. Pepper Tuition. She changed her major last year from nursing to pre-med biology with the aspiration to become a pediatric oncologist. This was decision was driven by the fact that her mother has metastatic breast cancer. I am asking for...

    Far East DTTer...

Saw this on another forum I'm on. Looks like there is at least one DTTer in the PRC (China). I can't imagine what it took for him to build that over there. Oh, and I hope this isn't a repost. I didn't see it anywhere else...

    Motomonster.com - HERO!!!

This is a recent experience I had with an online vendor. Not a vendor from this site or a member here that I'm aware of. So here's the story: I've been wanting a wheel balancing stand for some time now. I had saved up a few bucks so I decided to pull the trigger and get one. I shopped around...

    98 Virago 1100

Been a while since I've been on here. With my CL350 on hold for right now, I picked up this gem for the price of the hardbound shop manual that came with it. The rear cylinder suffered from oil starvation and the cam shaft welded itself to the bearing and bent the exhaust valve in the process...

    Hailing from Chester, VA

Hi everyone. I found this forum while perusing the internets for ideas for cafe racers and some technical info. I am currently working on a 1973 Honda CL350 Scrambler that I would like to make into a cafe project. The bike was given to me by a friend some years ago, and in turn I gave it to...
