Re: My first project. 1969 cb350 Another small update! It's alive!!!! We just needed to adjust the timing a bit and now it starts after 1-2 kicks. I cleaned up the wheels and put new tires on. They were 50$ each at a cycle swap meet, brand new! 3.50 front and 3.75 rear. I replaced the brake...

cb350 will turn but won't start. Hi! It's been a while. I haven't been in the garage so much recently. I got engaged in January, had to put my dog down in the same month, and we've been house hunting/wedding planning and working so things have been pretty crazy. I finally had some time to work...

Used a ball bearing I found laying around the garage, and now my clutch works!! Thanks guys. I went to start timing last night and found we are missing a "spark advancer" Once I find that I can continue! Hopefully I'll get the bike running by next week.

Well. The fact that I had no idea what ball bearing you were talking about, means I probably have my solution. #21, yeah? The cover and mechanism were in a box when I bought the bike, so I'm sure it's long gone. I think I have some extra bearings in the garage. I'll go dig around and see what...

    My first project. 1969 cb350

Alright, I need some help! I put in new sprockets and chain. I took apart my clutch mechanism and cleaned it out, then put everything back together. No matter how we adjust it, the clutch isn't engaging. We can only get it into neutral, but not into any gear. The lever and the mechanism appear...
