My hand is healing, and I had to find something to do in the sun today. Got my exhaust manifold back from the powdercoater and got the exhaust mocked up. Still have to make 1 bushing and get some springs for it to be "installed". We've apparently got a sheet metal roller at work, so eventually...

Small update, new piston/rings arrived, so yesterday after work I put my top end together. Getting cloooosseeeerrr (sorry about the dark pictures)

That's almost exactly what mine did. I replaced the coil, points and cursed a LOT, and it turned out it was the condenser. I'd toss in a new one, they're cheap and a quick solder job. Looking good!

Nice! I have the "M" offroad version. Mine's turning into a tiny flat tracker!

I fucking LOVE RC's... if I ever buy another sport bike, it's damn sure gonna be one of those. When I couldn't find one for a good price, I picked up a TLR instead, which was a GREAT bike, but the RC's are SO sexy! Great collection!

Got my case half back from the welder, and started putting the engine together. I had to take off some of the bead so the kick starter pawl can move, but it's nice and free now. I can't figure out how the gear shift spring goes back though :o Got my wheels laced and trued (first time...

Depends on what part you need! Parts can be hard to come by, but if you can cross reference parts you can get by. Things like forks (model specific) are few and far between (and the price reflects that) but there is lots of stuff that is fairly easy to find, and not terribly spendy

Got all of my parts back from the powdercoater, and I must say, they're lovely! The exhaust and chain guard were done in a gray very close to the tank and tail, and the rest (frame, swinger, wheels etc etc) was done in silver (NO black, remember?). Painted the exhaust guard in green, as well as...
