    My '71 Kawasaki F8 250 - (first) 'tracker

My hand is healing, and I had to find something to do in the sun today. Got my exhaust manifold back from the powdercoater and got the exhaust mocked up. Still have to make 1 bushing and get some springs for it to be "installed". We've apparently got a sheet metal roller at work, so eventually...

    Mini-Cafe'-Kawasaki Build (2 smoker content)

That's almost exactly what mine did. I replaced the coil, points and cursed a LOT, and it turned out it was the condenser. I'd toss in a new one, they're cheap and a quick solder job. Looking good!

    My '71 Kawasaki F8 250 - (first) 'tracker

Finished up my front fender bracket... it took a bit of fitting, the nuts (welded on the underside) sit about 1/4" off the tire... This was the best way I found to make sure the mounting brackets were straight Not sure whether I'll run it or not, but it only took a few hours, and now I've...

First off, Bert; these are the shocks I bought. http://www.ebay.com/itm/170477452324 As for recent work.... The engine went back together, still waiting for some socket head bolts so I can torque the cases and what not. I also polished (poorly) the flywheel/stator cover and the sprocket cover...

    Here is my little collection

I fucking LOVE RC's... if I ever buy another sport bike, it's damn sure gonna be one of those. When I couldn't find one for a good price, I picked up a TLR instead, which was a GREAT bike, but the RC's are SO sexy! Great collection!

I've got a copy on PDF of all of the old Kawi 2 smokes... if you give me your email I'd be happy to send it to you. It took me FOREVER to find it, but now I've got it, and it's backed up 2 or 3 fold :)

    My '71 Kawasaki F8 250 - (first) 'tracker

Got my case half back from the welder, and started putting the engine together. I had to take off some of the bead so the kick starter pawl can move, but it's nice and free now. I can't figure out how the gear shift spring goes back though :o Got my wheels laced and trued (first time...

    My '71 Kawasaki F8 250 - (first) 'tracker

Depends on what part you need! Parts can be hard to come by, but if you can cross reference parts you can get by. Things like forks (model specific) are few and far between (and the price reflects that) but there is lots of stuff that is fairly easy to find, and not terribly spendy

    My '71 Kawasaki F8 250 - (first) 'tracker

Got all of my parts back from the powdercoater, and I must say, they're lovely! The exhaust and chain guard were done in a gray very close to the tank and tail, and the rest (frame, swinger, wheels etc etc) was done in silver (NO black, remember?). Painted the exhaust guard in green, as well as...
