Well it looks like you tried all the usual tricks... Have you tried boiling water? That dissolves sugar cubes really quick, and a cube is pretty close to a block... Failing that... Chipper/shredder?
Yea but that was a nice gesture, which I'm sure he appreciates. The kit looks expensive so he might be able to sell what's left on eBay to help finance the purchase of a project bike.
The tank on my project is rusty inside and out. This is how I'm going to handle it. I have a chrome shop not too far away, I called them and they said they'd dip my tank in the acid tank to remove all the rust and paint inside and out for about $40. I'd have about $100 in enough metal magic to...
Very nice! Love the paint and the fab on the 2-1 is sweet! Where are you at in pit? I'm up in beaver. Some of us 'Burghers should get together and have a couple beers and bs.

Wow... Just wow. Top notch. Following along for sure. Was a little skeptical about that side rail at first, but it really does add a cool line to the bike. Your attention to detail and super clean work is impressive. Can't wait...
You sir, have inspired me. I can't wait to apply some of your badass techniques to my own badass cafe racer! Keep the awesome how to's coming, so we can all have bikes as sweet as yours!
Amazing build! I've been cruising DTT and the rest of the interwebs for the last few months looking for inspiration for my upcoming build. I have a 79 kz400 that I have started collecting pieces for. I ran across pics of your bike in a google search and drooled all over them. Saved a couple to...

I think you'll be good with the nylon thread. My mom did automotive upholstery for about 15yrs. She used nylon thread for that and it's almost indestructible. You can give the cotton or silk thread a little tug and break a piece off but if you try to do that with the nylon thread, sometimes you...
There's this guy too. This is the route I'm going for my practically free kz. $150 plus taxes on NADA "good" value. He gets you a Vermont title that is transferable.
