Project honda SS125A 1967 cafe racer fork swap

Have a 69 ss125 myself. Crossing my fingers for you on the carb as getting parts for these can be tricky. Will be curious to see what you do with the stock plastic air intake setup. There is a board on yahoo groups as well. Parts will inter change from one of the cl125 years.

Homemade Soda Blaster: Once Theory; Now Reality, sorta...

When I used a small box I always had issue with moisture and glass beads sticking together. So I am curious what you all are using to get rid of the moisture and possibly the cfm/compressor as I assume it needs to be higher than with sand. Is there any issue using the cermaic tip for sand with...

RD125 Items to note on buying

thanks, I think that is the option I should go for then. I have been looking for a cb125 but the prices are through the roof and I expect the rd125 to be a little better performance wise. The rd60 looked interesting as well but I wouldn't feel safe on the street in that.

RD125 Items to note on buying

I have never delt with a no title bike in fl so no clue how costly that could be as well. Wondering if in the end it wouldn't just be cheaper to hold out for a running bike. Is the rd250 that much heavier/different than the 125?

RD125 Items to note on buying

I have asked the seller a few questions and my main concerns are the carbs and intakes being open to the elements. Provided the motor isnt seized, not knowing much about these little guys, and having always wanted to get one up and running with a fairing. Is there any input from seasoned...

"Doing it Right" or "How to Build a Functional Café Racer"

interesting read. in regards to the ve area it is interesting and a great benefit these days to have the variable valve timing setups out there that throw out the limitations of either low end or top end tuning. Honda is using this on their motorcycles, wonder if vanos will ever make its way...

12 volt and 6 volt LEDs?!?!?

you can alter the resistor or you can use a step up converter similiar to what they use in current flashlights like surefire etc. The only worries I would have, as I am not an electrical eng, is what type of load the blinker relay would see and if it would still function correctly.
