Yeah what a load of bandwagon hopping garbage. Who do these publishers think they are putting things that people like to look at and read about in a magazine so that people can look at and read it!? WHAT A BUNCH OF ASSHOLES!!!!! ::)
Yeah that's what I'm thinking. I'll probably grind out all the filler and have a certified welder friend take a look to see if its salvageable.
On a related note. As part of this wheeling and dealing I was doing I also have a titled "77 cb750k. What I mean really is that I have a motor/...
Hey everybody, I as hoping some one might be able to help me ID this frame. I got it as part of a trade and just took it for the heck of it.
I'm thinking its a cb750 frame with a hardtail added. It's got a huge fork sleeve (that I know isn't honda, but figure it was an add on) thats way raked...
Also speaking from experience. If its just one big DDT patch without any top or bottom "rockers" you should be just fine.
If you were sporting some location specific bottom patches and happened upon some non weekend warriors sporting the same, you might have a problem.
Wow... there are way more things to consider before buying parts than I thought initially.
So here is my plan...
I'm gonna go ahead and buy a 530 100 link chain and slap it back on the old sprockets, and ride
(all the while research using your suggestions the BESTEST chain/sprocket setup...
Thanks for the reply man.
I do have access to a chain rivet tool through a buddy. I found a pretty decent deal on an O-ring chain and a set of sprockets packaged ($120) so I guess I'm headed that direction.
Well my chain is stretched past the point of adjustment so it looks like I'm going to need to change it.
I have never done this before so was wondering if there is anything to keep in mind ( pitfalls/ easilyfukupable things/etc )
Its a 78' Honda CB400a by the way.
Also I the sprockets look...
Heya
I did an intro already but it's been a while and I mostly been lurking since so I figured I'd do another.
Also I just got a new bike, adn a new plan for the old one so here goes.
I'm 30 and from North Georgia. Still fairly new to riding (1yr). I started with a 69 Honda Cl70 Scrambler...
I was thinking about doin up my 69 CL70 Scambler with some cafe styling cues. Just some clubmans/clipons, cafe seat, led signals yadda yadda... Nothing I can't put back to stock if needs be.
Here is what I've got
Here is what I'm basically going for
So my questions are: Does anyone know off...
Just scored this from feeBay for $16 bucks!
It's a Bell Spirit from the early 90's, but in brand spankin new condition with original box and warranty card.
Now I just gotta doll it up with some masking tape and paint. Maybe airbrush some sculls, or boobs on there or something ;)
