I haven't had a chance to get it in the garage yet. But first get a good battery in it some fresh fluids and redo the carbs and see what I'm working with. I have a soft spot for the old kz's so for now I'll likely just clean it up as best I can and get everything functioning. May remove the...
Gotta 1981 kz440 a couple weeks ago. Ran sort of but carbs were jetted poorly and clogged. Finally put 60 miles on it today tuned up right. Not bad for 800 dollars with newer michelin tires.
I've been off the forums for a year or so but I'm working on a 1982 Honda xl185, an 1981 kz440, and a 1975 jeep cj5, and a 1985 pontoon boat which has taken most of my time lately.

Re: 1975 Honda CB400F- What's it worth?

Re: 1975 Honda CB400F- What's it worth?
OP this is the angle grinder I use and it is a great bang for the buck. Will whiz right through anything that honda will throw at you...
Personally i would let all the fluid out the bleed screw before removing the mc to reduce the mess. I think youll lose all the old fluid in the install/bleeding process anyway. If your asking about the residual dot 3 left over i wouldnt worry much.
Edit: that being said i ran dot 3 in my...
