16" Stock Wheels?

Hey guys, I was just wondering which bikes came with a 16x3" rear wheel? I'm trying to fit some Shinko Classics Double White walls and seeing as they only come in 16" it's been a pain to source some 16's for the front and rear. I'm currently working on a 74 CB450 and a 81 XJ550R. I'm still debating which of these bikes will get the setup first. From what I've read so far, I can relace a 16" wheel to my stock hubs correct? If anyone has some advice or just some food for thought, please feel free to chime in.

Cheers,
Mike

Early HDs have 16" rear wheels (which is what those tires are designed for) but they are 40 spoke.

I know where some 16" aluminum 36 hole hoops are hanging.......they are 2.5" wide though.

You want to run 16" drums front and rear?

HD wheels are my last resort. Of all the stock wheels, HD's are the most expensive. I was hoping there would be another bike with 16" wheels that would fit my need. Thank you though.

According to the size chart, the Shinko Classics should fit wheels between 2.5"-3.0". I'd prefer 3.0" but I'll keep my options open. I'd like to keep my disk brakes up front but again, I'm keeping my options open on this setup. Tell me more about these wheels.

My Yamaha Radian uses 16's in the front and rear..

It doesn't look like those are spoked though :/

I found these wheels that are made by Drag Specialties. They are 16x3 for $70/wheel. These will be my last resort unless I can source a cheaper alternative. I'm thinking of painting the wheels (if I buy them second hand) so the bling factor isn't an issue.

Ludacity, do you need 36 hole or 40 hole wheels?

The ones I have are 36 hole and the spoke angles are set up for drum brakes. I've heard of people cutting the holes a little bit to match the angles needed for a disc brake hub, but I haven't done it.
