I wasnt really paying attention to my petcock setup on the stock cb175 tank.

Just realized its a flush mount screw on petcock. So I cant have: http://www.dimecitycycles.com/vintage-cafe-racer-caferacer-bobber-brat-chopper-streetfighter-motorcycle-parts-motorcycle-fuel-petcock-54-12-0039.html

So Im wondering does someone have an old junked cb350 tank or something theyd cut me off the thread type petcock mount so I can weld it on my 175 tank? Or is there hollow threaded rod out there in the world I can buy?

Thanks!

Hey Curb, you ever solve this?

I dont have an answer, but Jay Kent posted an awesome link to an eBay store in my build thread. Guy had a ton of petcocks and took great measurements of them too.

You could try and use the guts of your old petcock if you have it, and try and source an adapter to thread your new petcock into where the little bowl screws in.
Just a thought if you still have your old petcock.

It will still be a hassle to find an adapter though. You may have to make one.

Cheers.
