1963 Honda CL72 parts junker... REHOMED, thanks guys...

Scruffy

West Tennessee
Engine is scrap as far as I'm concerned. Decent chassis, nice tank, fair rims. Lots of usable engine parts, but the bottom end is locked up solid.

Will not part. You want it, come get it. I'm 30 miles north east of down town Memphis TN.

No papers, so she's parts or a race project unless you have very lax titling standards where you live.

I'm spending 90 miles a day commuting, have no time to dump into the pile any longer.

CL 305 carbs, wheels. Ceriani rear shocks. Cam and chain look brand new. Engine has less than 10 hours on a full rebuild, at a race shop, but has the old timing plate which is shot. Sprockets and drive chain are scrap.

Got the bike as a problem runner from a friend due to the bad points plate. Had it running, went to kick it through one day and the lower end seized. Can move neither the kicker or the shifter. Best guess is a broken shift fork or similar. Honestly do not know or care at this point.

CLs had the full frame, the engine is NOT a stressed member like in a CB or CA.

Somebody on this website NEEDS sloper Honda parts. Here they are, free if you come get the whole thing. No strings attached (or wires, fenders, airbox, ignition switch...).

Last street licensed in 1976, engine redone around 1979-1981. Track only from 1976-2007. Bottom end locked up in 2010.
