1967 cb450k0 Black BOmBBER

DC74inc

Come on in and sit on it.
Hey DTT, what should I do with this modified cb450k0 I picked up.. kustomize it or try and restore it which seems bleak being that there are such few bomber tanks lying around.. any thoughts ideas? ps the engine is the rare and orignal black bomber torsion spring vavle system 444cc, its right behind the bike ready for cleaning/piston rings.

I'd restore it. The tanks aren't that difficult to find and I have a spot for the Black Bomber.

The frame looks like it has been chopped pretty good, so it probably wouldn't be a very easy restore. I'm a little OCD so it sounds like fun but it may not be for you. I also think it would be sweet to keep going with the bobber thing but run the toaster tank.

Part it out and move on - I wouldn't trust a chopped up frame that I didn't participate in the chopping or welding of.

Ive never parted out a bike before, I paid four hundred for it with a clean and current title. Could I get more than 400 by selling black bomber engine (running) with wheels and what not... I dont think I will part it out. Literally though, I'm joining the ranks of the many online builders who are in dire need of a black bomber tank.. so if you ever find one, think of me, Dc74inc and then PM me! Im going to rebuild the electrical harness, do some more custom work (since its already a bastard) and then just run it... I guess.

PS its in my 2nd floor apartment... I too joined "those guys" for the first time after I moved... ;D

I would like to put a Ca77 dream seat with any cool honda tank, just you know.. bring it back from the realm it now resides in.

Why dont you call the fellas at Dime Cit and inquire on having them make you a proper frame? There 450 chop is beautiful.
