1968 Honda CB160 Restomod

Nice! Mallet and shot bag? Slappers and dollies? English wheel? Did you have to anneal?
Mostly formed with a half football dolly and a few different hammers plus a little shot bag, vice, anvil and english wheel. No annealing.

Color me impressed with that metal work. I thought I was good, but I would have given up and just recycled that......

When we raced, I was in the habit of collecting crashed , or what I call, lightly reshaped, fairings from racers with more cash to splash than we did. They are a nice fit around a CB160. As you can see, I let the engine covers sit out in the breeze. We should really have glassed them in to get a bit more protection for times when gravity hit too hard.

Nice job on the fender. I've seen those front fenders sell for over $100.
Precisely what made me try to fix this one. Aren't many on Ebay, either. One of the sites, like Treatland maybe, the site the sold the overstock of Harley rims, had a wad of aftermarket chrome repops that fit for really cheap, but someone bought them out and put them up on Ebay for twice the price.
